Mathematically even, every time
The needles aren't moving at random. Each one rides on a geared carrier, so a single turn of the ring sweeps them along overlapping spiral paths that never retrace the same line. Eight turns covers the whole basket. That isn't an estimate, it's just what the geometry does.
Here's why it matters. Water is lazy. It finds the loosest part of the puck and runs straight through it, pulling hard from one patch while barely touching the rest. That's channeling, and it's why a shot can taste sour and bitter in the same sip.
Distribute the grounds evenly and the shortcut disappears. Same dose, same grind, same machine, but the water has to work through the entire bed at one rate. That's the whole job of a WDT, and this one does it to a pattern rather than by feel.

Every tool is printed to fit your portafilter, so the dimensions won't match the photos exactly. The mechanism is identical, but basket diameter and depth are cut to your machine.
These are 3D printed in PLA, so you may spot small cosmetic marks left by the print process. Every unit is inspected by hand before it ships, and anything that would affect how it works doesn't leave the workshop.
